This website has been radically changed from the old one. It is built upon the very same structure, however it's had an upgrade and a facelift. We've kept and updated some features from the former site, as well as added a few new ones.

Federal Government College Sokoto Old Boys Hosts Pro-Unitate family as follows:

Date = 27th October 2007
Venue = Sheraton Hotel Abuja
Times = Seminar in the Morning and Dinner at 7pm

As many as are able to make the date and venue should please endeavour to be there.
 
Mr Peter Harwood (Principal of FGC Sokoto 1968 - 1976) Print E-mail

It is with deep regret that we announce the death of our Ex-Principal (1968-1976) – Mr. Peter Harwood, who passed away on Thursday 16th September 2007 following a long battle with Cancer.
He is fondly remembered by the UK Alumni following his guest appearance at a gala dinner held only a few years ago in London. (see pic)

As previously notified, the Unity Schools Dinner on the 27th October 2007 was a resounding success. The Event took place in Abuja at Radio House and Sheraton...

Amongst others in attendance, there was a representation on behalf of FGCSokoto from the following:

The Hon. Ministers of Education and water Resources were in attendance. The key message of the evening was that NOW is the time for UNITY Schools to rise up and take leadership of Nigeria so that the dream of our fathers for a United Nigeria does not die.
