Federal Government College Sokoto Worldwide Alumni would like to congratulate Air Marshall Seyi Petinrin on his recent appointment as Chief of Air Staff.

Air Marshall Seyi Petinrin was a student of Federal Governemtn College, Sokoto for five years from 1967 to 1971 and was in Niger house (contrary to some reports in the media that he spent his secondary school years elsewhere).

From his enlistment in the Nigerian Defence Academy (1974) to date, Air Marshall Petinrin has had a distiguished and honourable career in the Nigerian Air Force. Air Marshall Petinrin had previously held the position of Air Officer Commanding Nigeria Air Force Training Command, Kaduna.

We certainly wish him all the best in this new appointment and pray that the Almighty will grant him the wisdom and strength to lead our Air Defence forces to greater heights.
